With single-minded devotion, I take refuge in the Tathāgata of Infinite Light,
whose radiance shines unobstructed in all directions,
aspiring to be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Relying on the sutras, contemplating the true marks of merit and virtue,
I present these verses of aspiration in accord with the Buddha’s teachings.
Contemplating that world, it surpasses the three realms;
vast and boundless like empty space, ultimate and infinite.
