Sangha Life

1. Offering to The Venerable

Compassionate noble Saṅgha, Following the Buddha’s teaching, Remaining long in saṃsāra solely to benefit beings,
We earnestly and sincerely invite and pray:
May the Venerable come to this temple and accept our offerings.

The Buddha instructed the Venerable Piṇḍola Bhāradvāja not to enter Nirvāṇa, serving as a field of merit for monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen living in the Dharma-Ending age.

After the midday offering and the striking of the board (before meals, a board is struck to summon the monastics), the day’s food offerings are arranged and sincerely presented to Venerable Piṇḍola.
