Temple Development Phase I
The phase I construction project comprises two main buildings:
- The Great Compassion Hall, dedicated to enshrine the Thousand-Handed Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva;
- Monastic Kitchen (Da Liao) together with a spacious, well-lit Lecture & Dining Hall (Canteen), the layout can be adjusted as needed to accommodate a growing number of practitioners, providing a communal space for practice and fostering wider Dharma connections.
Great Compassion Hall
Designed as a two-storey facility with full accessibility features, the upper level will serve as the main shrine hall housing the sacred statue of the Thousand-Handed Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva. Bright, solemn, and dignified, it will be the central venue for daily chanting sessions and Dharma assemblies. The lower level will contain monastic quarters, reading area, and a multifunctional room.Lecture & Dining Hall
This building will consist of two main sections: 1. Lecture & Dining Hall; 2. Monastic Kitchen (Da Liao).- The Lecture Hall serves as a venue for Dharma Classes, and also functions as a Dining The dining hall serves as the place for monastic communal meals (guotang) in the Buddhist tradition.
- The existing Monastic Kitchen (Da Liao) is small and lacks adequate facilities, making it unable to meet the needs of preparing meals for a large number of attendees. The construction of a combined Lecture & Dining Hall has become an urgent necessity.
